ALEE@18: Scotland Tour II

Edinburgh was as bit gloomy the next day but that doesn’t stop us from exploring and learning more about this historic city.ImageImage

Our itinerary for our second day is much more specific than our first day, we had specific tourist spots to go to with the help of the staffs of the hotel. Walking is pretty much the best way to explore the city so something laid back and comfy for walking pair of shoes is a must for this kind of tour. So, first stop was at Calton Hill where you can see an overview of the whole city. Though its a bit chilly at the top of the hill but the scenery was worth it.

From a beautiful scenery we walked to get to the main entrance of Edinburgh Castle though we didn’t enter it because staffs back at the hotel told us that it was not worth the entrance fee, we still get to see the front entrance of it, instead we went for the national gallery of the city which paintings and art sculptures were dated centuries ago and were preserved for the present generation to see. We also went to the main factory where cashmere and lambswool are made from threads to fabrics but I’ll be posting another blog for that.
